Case Study: AddComm achieves leaner, more efficient short-run printing with Canon's Océ VarioPrint i300

A Canon Europe Ltd. Case Study

Preview of the AddComm Case Study

AddComm - Customer Case Study

AddComm Group, based in the Netherlands and Spain, provides book printing services and automated delivery of transactional documents, direct marketing, and customer communications. As demand shifted toward digital channels, its short-run print jobs became less economical on continuous-feed inkjet presses, while toner-based printing created cost and quality concerns. AddComm needed a more efficient short-run printing solution that would preserve image quality.

Canon Europe Ltd. implemented the Océ VarioPrint i300 sheet-fed inkjet colour press, integrating it into AddComm’s book printing workflow for runs of less than 2,500 and matching the quality of its existing Océ ColorStream presses. The result was a leaner, more efficient operation with cost-effective short-run personalized printing, improved flexibility through mixed media capability, and new business opportunities that helped AddComm win new customer contracts.
