OneSignal, the customer engagement platform known for push notifications and in-app messaging, needed a stronger way to identify, qualify, and hire high-quality GTM talent as it scaled its sales organization. The team wanted candidates who were not only skilled, but also deeply engaged and a strong culture fit, and they were looking for a recruiting partner that could move faster and deliver better-qualified prospects than traditional contract firms. Candidate Labs provided that hiring support.
With Candidate Labs, OneSignal used a data-driven recruiting and vetting service to source, screen, and coordinate candidates for roles including Market Development Rep, commercial account executive, enterprise account executive, and later a Head of Marketing search. The results were strong: OneSignal hired two people within 45 days from the initial engagement, 9.5 out of 10 candidates shown were screened, and 5 of the company’s last 7 sales-oriented hires came through Candidate Labs. OneSignal also noted improved candidate quality, faster hiring, and strong diversity outcomes, with three of the last five hires being female.
