Rowley’s the Jewellers transforms its shopfront in 2026 with Candid

Rowley’s the Jewellers, a long-standing independent jeweler on Penarth's high street, needed to refresh its shopfront to better reflect its heritage, improve visibility, and increase kerb appeal. The challenge required a design that aligned with its refined brand identity and involved navigating the local council's Commercial Improvement Grant process for funding. They engaged Candid Creative Studio for its services in brand consistency, design, and strategic funding support.

Candid developed a cohesive signage scheme using clear acrylic and gold vinyl, which preserved the traditional painted timber fascia while modernizing the look. The vendor acted as the central coordinator, successfully guiding the client through the grant application and working with the council and local suppliers. The project resulted in a distinctive and elevated shopfront that strengthened the brand's premium positioning, enhanced the visual quality of the town center, and accessed crucial funding that enabled a higher quality outcome for the business.
