Canalys, a channels‑focused IT research firm, needed to move its Canalys Forums (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) to a virtual format that was globally accessible and highly engaging. They required a platform to host 30+ sessions over three days, simulated‑live keynotes, live roundtables for 1,500+ registered executives, auto‑breakouts, and a comprehensive exhibitor/sponsor zone. Canalys selected the Canapii virtual events platform, using its simulated‑live content and Chime breakout/webinar integrations to meet these needs.
Canapii delivered a mix of scheduled simulated‑live sessions, Chime-enabled live workshops with auto‑breakouts, an agenda builder and AI translation/time‑zone features, plus sponsor pages and gamification. The events attracted 4,350+ global attendees (with 239 speakers and 88 sessions), generated over 1,400,000 gamification points, and preserved community traditions like a 5KM run—results Canalys credited to Canapii’s platform and support.
