VHV migrates to ensure scalability and AI opportunity with Camunda 8

VHV Group, the German insurance and reinsurance company, needed a more scalable and flexible way to run its business processes as volumes grew and its AI ambitions expanded. Longtime customer of Camunda, VHV set out to migrate hundreds of processes from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8, but faced challenges around Kubernetes, persistent storage, Spring Boot in Kubernetes, dual-region networking, and evolving migration documentation.

Camunda helped VHV implement Camunda 8 Platform Self-Managed, enabling greater connectivity, new connectors, and a path toward agentic orchestration and AI-ready automation. Since going live in April 2025, VHV has successfully migrated several processes and automated more than 84,000 process instances, while building a foundation to connect SAP, IDP, RPA, and other systems end to end with Camunda.
