Atlassian, a global software company with more than 4,000 employees, sought to automate business processes across finance, commerce, marketing and customer support. To drive enterprise‑wide process and decision automation, Atlassian adopted Camunda and the Camunda Platform to standardize, scale and manage these automation initiatives.
Camunda implemented the Camunda Platform to integrate a new SaaS accounting system—centralizing finance workflows and revenue recognition—and to support additional projects like Salesforce lead management and customer support case routing. Camunda delivered high‑throughput, standards‑based, developer‑friendly automation that promotes IT–business collaboration and interoperates with Java, Python and Node.js, enabling Atlassian to standardize automation across teams and improve workflow centralization.
