A Camunda Case Study
Bank11, a German credit institution specializing in automotive sales financing, faced challenges with its hard-coded, non-standardized lending processes. These workflows caused departmental misunderstandings and were unsuitable for strategic development. To achieve a high automatic decision-making rate, Bank11 needed to clearly define and automate processes that integrated numerous internal and external services. They turned to Camunda for a solution.
By implementing Camunda, Bank11 was able to use BPMN 2.0 to model and execute its core lending processes, orchestrating a flexible and modular solution. This provided end-to-end orchestration and standards-based collaboration. The results were highly successful, with Camunda now handling a large part of the bank's credit decisions. The solution achieved a high degree of automated decision-making with extremely high system stability, even under very high load, and improved process understanding across different departments.
