3ap Automates State-of-the-Art Hospitality Platform with Camunda

3ap, a Zurich-based digital transformation firm, was engaged by SV Group to build Stay KooooK, a fully digital guest journey that automates booking, check-in, digital room access, guest services and checkout across multiple platforms. The core challenge was orchestrating and monitoring a modern, event-driven microservices architecture so the guest experience stayed seamless and scalable; to meet this need 3ap selected Camunda and its Camunda Platform 8 (SaaS Enterprise) for end-to-end process orchestration and visibility.

Using Camunda Platform 8, 3ap implemented process monitoring and orchestration—spinning up a POC in a two-week sprint and going live in September 2020—to coordinate cloud services and alert SV Group’s IT team via Slack and an incident tool when delays occur. Camunda continues to monitor critical touchpoints, enabling faster time-to-market, clearer cloud TCO, improved scalability, and hundreds of 5‑star reviews for the guest experience; the solution also supports a 60–70 room property running efficiently with just 2–3 full‑time employees and paves the way for wider rollout.
