D’Youville College set out to support a campus-wide sustainability initiative by going paperless, but its Financial Aid office—serving 3,000 students with 82% receiving aid—was still buried in paper forms and faxed verifications. With roughly 450 verifications in 2017 and many manual processes (SAP appeals, professional judgments, custom scholarship and loan forms), leadership needed a secure, easy-to-use solution that improved student and staff experience without heavy IT overhead.
D’Youville implemented CampusLogic StudentForms, a mobile-optimized, encrypted SaaS platform that automated workflows, e-signatures, and custom forms, allowing the office to go fully paperless in about 30 days. The change streamlined verifications and appeals, freed staff for longer one-on-one advising, and delivered measurable sustainability wins—451 verifications processed (Feb–Dec 2017), 134 trees saved and 14,207 kg CO2 avoided—while improving security and student engagement.
