Utah State University partnered with CampusESP, a parent and family engagement platform, to improve enrollment communication and better support families throughout the student lifecycle. The university’s challenge was to deliver timely, relevant information to prospective and current parents who play a major role in student decision-making.

Using CampusESP, Utah State centralized family communications and sent targeted “enrollment nudges” about deadlines, scholarships, orientation, virtual events, and student support. The approach helped drive an 8% higher yield rate for students with a parent using CampusESP, contributed to Utah State’s largest incoming class ever in Fall 2020, and boosted engagement with prospective parents, including a 45% average open rate and 65% among self-identified parent inquiries.
