How a Theology School Manages Both Graduate and Continuing Education Programs

Hebrew College, a Newton, MA non‑profit theology school serving roughly 100 graduate students and several thousand continuing‑education learners, faced a failing legacy SIS (Jenzabar) that couldn’t support both degree and non‑credit programs. Staff struggled with a complicated interface, inconsistent data, no integrated online payments, and low adoption as departments built workarounds. To replace that “patchwork quilt,” Hebrew College selected Campus Cafe’s student information system.

Campus Cafe implemented an integrated SIS that manages both traditional and non‑traditional student lifecycles, provides customizable forms, secure online payments, Schoology integration, robust training and responsive support. The switch consolidated data into a single source of truth, increased user adoption, let the college use one master form for continuing education, enabled seamless sign‑ups and payments, and improved enrollment tracking and reporting — allowing Hebrew College to add classes when demand rises and run operations more efficiently with Campus Cafe.
