The YMCA of Greater Richmond, a nonprofit organization, faced the challenge of designing a new office space that would break down departmental silos, support collaboration, and retain the energetic mission of its brand for both employees and visitors. Campfire & Co. was engaged to provide interior design and signage services to create a workspace that felt like home for longtime staff while encouraging innovation.

Campfire & Co. designed an open concept workspace that incorporated the YMCA's brand identity through muted color tones, wood accents, and geometric shapes echoing its sporty aesthetic. The solution included a prominently placed, naturally lit call center and a variety of formal and informal meeting spaces to support all work styles. The new office successfully created a vibrant and energizing environment that fosters personal connection and reflects the community-focused mission of the YMCA.
