Witzenmann, Streamlined Process Thanks to Binding Rules

Witzenmann, the global market leader in flexible metallic components, was struggling with an increasingly complex product portfolio and an aging in‑house configurator that could no longer support international roll‑out or reliably feed downstream systems. To create a future‑proof, integrated solution that could manage millions of variants and link sales to manufacturing, Witzenmann selected camos (using camos Develop/configurator software and consulting).

camos implemented the new configurator (FlexKo built with camos Develop) and integrated it with SAP, PLM and CAD, applying binding rules to automatically forward up to 70 product attributes through the entire process chain. As a result, processing times for requirement documentation, quotations and order processing were noticeably reduced, technical re‑testing was eliminated, delivery times shortened, and the solution went live at the head office and 14 subsidiaries (with four more rolled out later), boosting manufacturing efficiency and international onboarding.
