Trox, Components Transformed Into Central Air Handling Units

TROX, a specialist in air‑conditioning and ventilation components, needed to move from supplying parts to offering fully customised central air handling units (AHUs). The challenge was to configure bespoke AHUs for varied building scenarios while performing complex technical and physical calculations and integrating data from multiple component manufacturers and the ERP system. TROX selected the camos configuration/CPQ solution to meet these requirements.

camos implemented a solution based on camos Develop, camos Configurator and camos Quotation, using DLL links to external design systems and integrating with Infor ERP LN. The configurator lets sales engineers capture customer requirements, run advanced calculations, produce graphical designs and automated quotations, and transfer orders and CAD data directly to ERP—supporting the launch of TROX’s X‑CUBE AHU series in mid‑2011. As a result, TROX has significantly expanded its in‑house AHU business, accelerated quoting and order processing, and continuously improved configurations with camos’ support.
