Liebherr, a global manufacturer of earthmoving and material‑handling machines, faced growing sales complexity as customers could configure products from many separate components. That increased the technical knowledge required of sales staff, so Liebherr implemented camos software to support configuration and quotation processes.

Using camos since 1998 (and migrating to the camos CPQ solution in 2006), Liebherr improved the speed and quality of its quotes while giving sales staff greater freedom within a systematically guided process. Liebherr’s IT team also uses the camos CPQ development environment to add functionality and build other business applications (CRM, product management, work planning), extending the measurable benefits across the company.
