maxon motor, the Swiss manufacturer of high‑precision drive systems, needed to shorten the time from product configuration to delivery and enable customers to self‑configure complex modular motors online. To meet the target of having any variant ready for delivery within eleven working days, maxon motor introduced a CPQ solution from camos.

camos implemented an online configurator integrated with maxon motor’s ERP and production systems, automating CAD generation, BOMs, work schedules and production orders so sales and customers can configure and place orders directly. The camos CPQ sped up downstream processes and enabled maxon motor to deliver almost 100% of orders within eleven working days, while supporting increased product individualization.
