CamDo Solutions provided its time-lapse technology to Shed Restaurant, a new dining establishment in Tofino, British Columbia. The customer's challenge was to document their five-month construction project with a reliable time-lapse system that could operate effectively despite site-specific constraints, including construction lights pointed at the camera and low ceilings, while also being simple enough to manage during a busy build and opening period.

The solution implemented by CamDo consisted of a ShootX time-lapse camera, a CloudX Pro unit for remote monitoring, and free CamDoMachine software for video creation. The battery-powered system captured images at 10-minute intervals, requiring minimal maintenance. The remote monitoring capability allowed the owner to check on the site remotely and keep an eye on contractors. The result was a successful and impactful construction time-lapse video that documented the entire project, providing a valuable record and memory of the build for Shed Restaurant.
