Metropolis Visual captures a 120-bed care home project with CamDo Solutions in 20-minute time-lapse intervals

CamDo Solutions provided equipment and support for Metropolis Visual, a London-based video production company, on a construction time-lapse project. The challenge was to document the transformation of Hendon Hall into a care home without damaging the existing structure, requiring high camera placements with no ability to drill, all while capturing the full, unusually shaped site.

The solution involved using CamDo's UpBlink and CloudX with GoPro cameras, strategically mounted on pillars and later scaffolding. The system was scheduled to capture images at intervals as frequent as every 10 minutes during rapid phases. This allowed Metropolis Visual to produce high-quality update videos for stakeholders, demonstrating progress efficiently and helping the construction company, Farrans, use the footage for tendering future projects.
