Skyline Technology Solutions, a Glen Burnie, Maryland–based systems integrator serving state agencies and commercial clients, needed an affordable, flexible way to provide off-site video storage and remote monitoring for customers — in particular cannabis businesses that require regulatory-compliant off-site recording. Referred to Camcloud by Hanwha Techwin America, Skyline began deploying Camcloud’s cloud video surveillance alongside Hanwha Techwin cameras to meet those requirements.

Camcloud provided a plug-and-play cloud VMS that automatically discovers and configures Hanwha cameras, delivering off-site storage, mobile access, and simplified deployments. The Camcloud solution is now in use across 4 locations with 80+ cameras (about 16 cameras per site on average, with a largest site of 22), enabling remote monitoring, regulatory compliance for off-site recording, and greater deployment flexibility that Skyline cites as filling a key gap for their customers.
