The Austrian Red Cross needed a better way to mobilize people for blood donation as spontaneous, in-person outreach was no longer effective. They worked with CamBuildr and used its campaign platform to create a more engaging digital approach to attract and involve potential donors, especially younger audiences.
CamBuildr helped the Austrian Red Cross run a multi-channel online campaign with a custom website, sign-up opportunities, a Commitment App, a Story Wall, and tailored direct communication based on tracked supporter actions. The results were strong: within a few months, first-time blood donations increased by 36%, helping build a well-stocked blood reserve in Austria and a larger database of active supporters.
