A Cambridge Management Consulting (Cost Reduction) Case Study
The Turks and Caicos Telecommunications Commission (TCITC) faced the challenge of replacing unreliable microwave links with a high-capacity fibre optic domestic submarine cable system to ensure resilient connectivity during adverse weather and to lay the groundwork for future digital investments. Cambridge Management Consulting was engaged to prepare a Strategic Outline Business Case to study the feasibility of this initiative.
Cambridge Management Consulting conducted market analysis, a legal review, and a technical desktop study to create a financial plan and the final business case report. The solution was presented to and approved by the islands' Cabinet. As a result, the project moved forward to the procurement phase, and Cambridge MC also identified and facilitated discussions for potential extensions to new international cable systems.
