Thames builds a 5-year innovation roadmap and targets five £1Bn+ investments with Cambridge Management Consulting

Thames Freeport, a unique initiative designed to stimulate trade and economic regeneration, engaged Cambridge Management Consulting to design a clear innovation strategy. Their challenge was to create a plan to drive inward investment over the next three to five years, defining objectives, KPIs, and the future business ecosystem for the region.

Cambridge Management Consulting, working with innovation partner L Marks, conducted stakeholder interviews and workshops to build a comprehensive innovation strategy and a subsequent 5G Innovation Programme. The vendor delivered a five-year vision with a three-year roadmap, setting clear objectives and KPIs. These included targets to create five new £1Bn+ investments, engage 350 global tech companies, implement 50 new solutions, and build four innovation hubs, ultimately creating highly-skilled jobs and improving quality of life for local residents.
