Cifas, the UK’s Fraud Prevention Service, needed a better way to visualize and report on the growing National Fraud Database for its 300 members. Working with Cambridge Intelligence and its KeyLines SDK, Cifas wanted a secure, web-based, browser-compatible tool that would provide a more contextual, interactive view of fraud data and replace i2’s Analyst’s Notebook for internal investigations.
Cambridge Intelligence built the application in just two months using an agile approach, with weekly feedback sessions and remote beta testing to ensure usability and data clarity. The result was a successful rollout that delivered immediate value: within a week of going live, Cifas members were already detecting new frauds, and analysts gained a faster, more holistic view of fraud networks with no specialist training required.
