A Cambri Case Study

Solar Foods uses Cambri as a concept testing tool to develop and evaluate new and radical ideas

Solar Foods, a science-based food startup, needed a way to test and refine ideas for Solein®, its novel protein made with a direct-air-capture bioprocess. Because the product is unlike anything consumers know, the team had to understand how people would react not only to the ingredient itself, but also to product qualities like color, brand attributes, and messaging. They used Cambri’s concept testing tool to support ongoing consumer research and innovation.

With Cambri, Solar Foods ran rapid, iterative concept tests to evaluate early ideas and defined product concepts, helping the team make faster decisions and learn from consumer expectations. Cambri gave Solar Foods reliable results quickly and at a reasonable cost, enabling them to keep testing radical ideas and improve their product direction. The case study does not provide a specific numeric performance metric, but it highlights faster insights, cost efficiency, and better-informed innovation.
