A Cambium Networks Case Study
Schilling Graphics, a multi‑location silk‑screening company with headquarters in Ohio and production sites in California and Minnesota, depended on fast, reliable Wi‑Fi to maintain its three‑day order turnaround. The company struggled with an aging wireless system that dropped connections as employees moved through buildings, limited simultaneous connections during meetings, access point interference, and a lack of centralized management. After evaluating leading options, Schilling Graphics selected Cambium Networks’ Xirrus Wi‑Fi solution.
Cambium Networks deployed Xirrus Wi‑Fi access points managed centrally via the Xirrus Management System (XMS) and monitored with Xirrus Application Control, enabling IT to configure all sites from one dashboard and ship preconfigured units to remote locations so networks came online in minutes. The new system keeps mobile devices connected while moving, supports everyone in the admin area connecting at once, reduces interference, and lets Schilling spread costs by snapping in upgraded radios (e.g., 802.11ac Wave 2) instead of replacing hardware—improving reliability, simplifying management, and cutting upgrade expenses.
