Videon, a wireless ISP serving the Znojmo region, was asked to deliver broadband to the 1,200-resident town of Jevisovice within weeks after residents suffered slow, congested service from local providers. To meet the tight two-week timeline and operate in a crowded RF environment, Videon selected Cambium Networks’ ePMP 1000 wireless access solution.

Videon deployed three ePMP APs (120° antennas) in the town church tower with GPS synchronization and added the first 25 Subscriber Modules in days, provisioning customers for 20 Mbps down/20 Mbps up and VoIP/video where required. The Cambium Networks ePMP system delivered strong, reliable performance (200+ Mbps potential per AP), enabled frequency reuse, supported 20+ subscribers per AP, and led to high customer satisfaction and the addition of hundreds of subscribers.
