Case Study: GoZone WiFi achieves district-wide guest Wi‑Fi and bridges the digital divide with Cambium Networks

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the GoZone Wifi Case Study

Transforming Businesses and the Community in St. Petersburg, Florida

GoZone Wifi, serving the EDGE District in St. Petersburg, Florida, needed to replace limited, fragmented guest access and bridge the digital divide for low‑income residents while also giving local businesses and advertisers better tools to engage visitors. To build a sponsor‑funded, community‑driven network, GoZone Wifi partnered with Cambium Networks and deployed Cambium's cnPilot e400 indoor and e500 outdoor access points.

Using Cambium Networks' cnPilot hardware alongside GoZone Wifi's Marketing4WiFi, Analytics4WiFi and Ads4WiFi platforms, the solution delivered pervasive indoor/outdoor guest Wi‑Fi, simplified logins, targeted advertising and detailed foot‑traffic analytics. The network now supports about 1,200–1,500 connections per month, generates roughly 1,087 ad impressions/month with a 2.3% CTR, sends ~1,050 promotional emails monthly with a 21% read rate, and has reduced staff time spent handing out passwords—improving visitor experience and helping local businesses measure and grow.
