Trans Virtual Pvt. Ltd was contracted to deliver WAN, LAN and WiFi for the 12th South Asian Games, connecting athletes, media and attendees across 26 venues in Guwahati and Shillong under a 30‑day deadline. To meet the requirement for robust, centrally managed wireless connectivity, TVPL selected Cambium Networks’ wireless broadband portfolio, including PTP 650 and PTP 450 backhaul, PMP 450 distribution and cnPilot enterprise and hotspot access points.

Cambium Networks implemented a redundant all‑wireless backbone with automatic failover from the primary BSNL link, PMP 450 distribution and cnPilot indoor/outdoor APs for guest and permanent access. Deployed in 30 days, the solution delivered consistent high bandwidth and coverage for the full ten days of competition, supported thousands of concurrent users during peak events, and remains in place to provide ongoing connectivity for venues and hotels — demonstrating rapid time‑to‑deploy, reliability and measurable user satisfaction.
