A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the City of Independence Case Study

The City of Independence Expands Public Wi-Fi

The City of Independence, a small community in western Oregon, needed to expand public Wi‑Fi after COVID‑19 closures to deliver high‑quality wireless in three outdoor areas on a limited budget. The city engaged HarborTech Mobility and selected Cambium Networks' cnPilot series access points to design an affordable, robust solution.

HarborTech Mobility implemented the Cambium Networks solution by deploying eight cnPilot access points across Riverview Park, Inspiration Garden, and the Public Library, providing continuous outdoor coverage. The Cambium Networks deployment delivered reliable, high‑quality internet throughout the parks while meeting the city's budget constraints and public-access goals.
