Case Study: Cascade Networks achieves reliable, scalable video surveillance for Seattle’s Chinatown with Cambium Networks ePMP

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the Cascade Networks Case Study

Seattle’s Chinatown is safe and secure using ePMP

Cascade Networks, which had been supporting a ten-camera wireless mesh surveillance network across a six-square-block area in Seattle’s Chinatown International District, was facing unreliable performance, information loss and high maintenance overhead. To improve public safety and enable future expansion, Cascade Networks selected the ePMP solution from Cambium Networks to replace the legacy mesh system.

Cambium Networks’ ePMP was deployed and configured as an integrated PMP‑PTP architecture within hours, bringing resiliency, uplink/downlink ratio control, GPS‑synchronized TDD, a web management UI and low‑power operation that reused existing 12 VDC infrastructure. The Cambium Networks solution delivered a reliable, cost‑effective video surveillance service, reduced information loss, simplified maintenance and was rolled out to additional districts and university complexes—restoring community confidence and supporting new economic growth.
