Case Study: ANNEX achieves seamless facility-wide Wi‑Fi coverage and zero downtime with Cambium Networks cnPilot and cnMaestro

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the ANNEX Case Study

Seamless Transition to Complete Wi-Fi Coverage

ANNEX, a dry-food and contract-packing specialist operating a 20,000 m² automated facility in Clayton South, relied on Wi‑Fi for 40–60 mobile users, RF scanners and Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Facing slow speeds, frequent dropouts and rising maintenance costs with their legacy network that threatened AGV performance, ANNEX engaged Cambium Networks’ cnPilot wireless and cnMaestro management platform (deployed with integrator Southern Rework) to deliver a more reliable, easy-to-manage solution.

Cambium Networks implemented a cnPilot deployment—22 cnPilot e500 outdoor access points across two sites—with pre-staged hardware and a two-day cutover. The rollout delivered full facility coverage, connected AGVs to in-line PLCs and RF scanners to the WMS, and enabled remote management via cnMaestro. Results included zero dropouts, zero loss of transactional data, negligible production impact during installation and reduced onsite service visits, improving reliability, speed and operational efficiency.
