Root Media, a full-service communications provider in Zagreb, was engaged to give a prominent video production company a symmetrical, high-speed, low-latency connection after the new site only had ADSL. Facing a tight timeline to get the customer online in a day or two, Root Media turned to Cambium Networks after evaluating wireless options at a Cambium roadshow and selected Cambium’s ePMP 1000 point-to-point solution and LINKPlanner design tools.

Root Media deployed two Cambium Networks ePMP PTP links, used LINKPlanner to verify performance and prepare materials, and leveraged the ePMP spectrum analyzer to choose a clear frequency and optimized PTP mode. The links delivered more than 90 Mbps simultaneous upstream and downstream with latency below 3 ms, enabled clear video conferencing and fast multi‑terabyte transfers, saved the customer thousands of euros versus the local telco, and has remained stable in operation for months.
