A Cambium Networks Case Study
Northumberland Schools, located in one of Britain’s largest and most rural counties, needed a major Wi‑Fi upgrade as rising user density outstripped their aging network. Local ISP/installer KBR turned to Cambium Networks, using cnPilot™ Indoor 802.11ac access points and the cnMaestro™ cloud management platform to deliver the higher capacity and performance required across the school estate.
Cambium Networks supplied equipment to 31 schools, installing 167 high‑density 802.11ac dual‑band access points and enabling cloud‑based management via cnMaestro for zero‑touch onboarding, monitoring, and rapid remote support. The upgrade delivered markedly improved Internet speed and capacity, support for high concurrency, built‑in resilience if a WAN fails, easier expansion and SLA compliance, and reduced time and cost for on‑site maintenance.
