MHO Networks - Customer Case Study

MHO Networks, a 21-year-old wireless ISP serving Denver, CO and Orange County, CA, was expanding from residential and SMB customers into the large-enterprise space and needed a reliable, cost-effective way to deliver “big-pipe” services for VoIP and HD video. To meet growing throughput and RF exclusivity requirements, MHO turned to Cambium Networks and its Cambium PTP 800 Licensed Ethernet Microwave Solutions alongside its existing Cambium PTP and PMP infrastructure.

Cambium Networks supplied PTP 800 licensed microwave links that integrated with MHO’s PMP access and PTP backbone, giving immediate higher capacity, RF exclusivity and an intuitive GUI for faster management. The result: MHO can provision high-capacity circuits in days instead of the typical 6–8 week fiber lead time (for example, signing a customer on Friday and delivering a 50 Mbps service by Monday), scale bandwidth on demand (e.g., quickly move 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps), win larger enterprise accounts, and maintain low-latency, high-throughput service even in Denver’s challenging climate.
