Case Study: Lnet achieves Libya’s largest, cost-efficient fixed‑wireless network with Cambium Networks ePMP

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the LNET Case Study

Lnet Provides MarketLeading Service in Libya With Second Largest ePMP Fixed Wireless Network in the World

LNET, a Libyan service provider serving about 60,000 residential, business and enterprise customers, faced capacity, interference and cost challenges in densely populated urban and suburban areas. To replace underperforming equipment and scale in a noisy RF environment, LNET selected Cambium Networks’ ePMP fixed wireless solution (with cnMaestro cloud management) to meet its goals of increasing capacity, improving interference tolerance and reducing capital expenditure.

Cambium Networks deployed 1,500 ePMP access points across 250 tower locations using GPS synchronization, frequency reuse, smart beamforming antennas and dynamic filtering, managed centrally with cnMaestro. The result: LNET became the largest ePMP fixed wireless provider in Libya, supporting up to 120 clients per AP (5× more than their previous system), delivering service 20–30× cheaper than satellite, and reducing equipment, towers and maintenance — lowering overall TCO.
