Lesswire Brings Opera to All With High-Density Wi-Fi Access Points

Lesswire, an event IT company, was tasked with providing Wi‑Fi for Opera for All in Zurich so visitors could access the Sennheiser MobileConnect app (narrated and amplified audio streams) for accessibility. To meet this challenge, Lesswire deployed Cambium Networks Xirrus high‑density Wi‑Fi access points and used Cambium Networks’ XMS‑Enterprise for on‑premises network management.

Lesswire installed three Cambium Networks high‑density APs (one positioned at the Truss Tower) and configured and tested the system in three hours; Cambium Networks’ equipment delivered strong 5 GHz coverage and reliable operation in the crowded event. The deployment let about 300 attendees connect to the MobileConnect streams out of nearly 10,000 spectators, demonstrating rapid setup and measurable user impact thanks to Cambium Networks.
