KRK Sistemi - Customer Case Study

KRK Sistemi, a local ISP serving government, business and residential customers in Croatia, was asked to restore reliable public WiFi in the busy town center of Novi Vinodolski after the original system could not support more than about 30 simultaneous users. To meet growing demand for video streaming and social sharing, KRK Sistemi selected solutions from Cambium Networks—building on ePMP for backhaul and deploying cnPilot outdoor WiFi hotspots for access.

KRK Sistemi deployed twelve Cambium Networks cnPilot hotspots integrated with an ePMP infrastructure, delivering nearly 100 Mbps per hotspot (20 MHz channel) and support for up to 128 concurrent clients, with ePMP backhaul throughput around 120 Mbps. The rollout has provided steady coverage (ranges ~100 m with standard antennas, up to ~180 m with high‑gain antennas), with reliable performance even during storms, enabling visitors and businesses to stream, share and connect and effectively revitalizing the town center.
