Innovative Wireless Deployment Brings High-Speed Connectivity to Acqua Village Water Park

Acqua Village Follonica, a large open‑air water park, struggled with poor Wi‑Fi (outdated 10/100 links and 2.4 GHz only) and weak mobile coverage that disrupted guest app use and internal order/receipt management. The park engaged system integrator Wi‑Tech S.r.l., which selected Cambium Networks products — including a cnWave 60 GHz V5000, V2000 units, cnMatrix switches and the cnMaestro management platform — to deliver a wireless-first solution.

Cambium Networks’ deployment (1 × V5000, 10 × V2000, 10 cnMatrix switches and 22 XV2 access points, managed by cnMaestro) was discreetly installed, tested and staff‑trained. The network now supports about 1,000 daily users, provides up to 1 Gbps symmetric total (max 50 Mbps symmetric per user), and reliably runs social media, management software, Dante audio, alarms, video surveillance and staff communications — markedly improving guest connectivity and operational efficiency.
