Inalámbrica GM Expands with ePMP

Inálambrica GM, a WISP based in Santo Domingo offering symmetrical 2.5 and 10 Mbps links, faced capacity limits when each access point could serve only about 30 customers and adding more APs created interference and high deployment cost. To overcome these constraints they turned to Cambium Networks and deployed the ePMP solution.

Cambium Networks implemented ePMP 2000 with Smart Beamforming, the ePMP Elevate software to integrate existing third‑party APs, and cnMaestro for cloud management. The upgrade raised per‑AP capacity (from ~30 to up to 40 customers), reduced interference and the number of APs required per tower, enabled migration of 10 Mbps point‑to‑point services into the multipoint network (where delivering more than 5 Mbps had previously been impossible), lowered maintenance via surge protection, improved customer satisfaction, and put Inálambrica GM on a clear path toward 1,000 customers.
