Whitecap Resources, Inc needed reliable, cost‑effective internet for corporate and remote camp sites across Western Canada where broadband is scarce and cellular was too expensive. After costly, impractical quotes, Whitecap engaged Hybrid Wireless (with MBSI WAV) to find an engineered wireless solution using Cambium Networks products to meet budget and performance goals.

Hybrid Wireless deployed a custom network built around Cambium Networks hardware — PTP 850 licensed backhaul (55.3 km), a PTP 670 unlicensed link (45.5 km, installed Feb 15, 2022), e410/e430 indoor APs, Force 180s and the ePMP platform — and uses Cambium’s cnMaestro for centralized monitoring. The solution, including a new 30‑m tower near Edson, has delivered zero downtime since install, improved productivity and revenue for Whitecap, and provides single‑pane network management and usage reporting.
