Hanson Enterprises, which operates three hotels in Ogonquit, Maine (The Milestone, Gorges Grant Hotel, and Juniper Hill Inn), faced rising guest complaints as its aging Wi‑Fi could not support families bringing five to six devices each, and the controller-based system would fail without easy diagnostics. Cambium Networks deployed Xirrus access points and the Xirrus Management System (XMS) to provide centralized, cloud-manageable Wi‑Fi with capacity alerts and per-device controls; administrators quickly capped streaming at 2 Mbps per device to prevent any one user from degrading service.
