EpikNetwork, a wireless ISP serving about 700 business and residential customers in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, needed to provide affordable, reliable high‑speed Internet across a circular deployment of towers. High RF noise in the unlicensed spectrum and peak-hour usage (students at home and businesses running VoIP, file transfers and transactions) throttled capacity and generated customer complaints, so EpikNetwork turned to Cambium Networks and its ePMP 2000 solution to improve throughput and reliability.

EpikNetwork deployed Cambium Networks’ ePMP 2000 APs with GPS synchronization and Hypure technology (smart sector antenna, intelligent beamforming and filtering) on 5 GHz, delivering up to 100 Mbps in a 20 MHz channel to mitigate interference. The links worked immediately and reliably, customer complaints stopped, voice, video and data services run smoothly, and EpikNetwork is installing more units and expanding coverage — a clear operational improvement and measurable throughput gain from the Cambium Networks solution.
