Case Study: Camarote Salvador achieves high-capacity, full-coverage VIP Wi‑Fi for Carnival with Cambium Networks

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the Camarote Salvador Case Study

High Energy Carnaval Connects a Crowd with High Capacity and Coverage Wi-Fi

Camarote Salvador, a 10,000 m² VIP booth area at Salvador’s Carnival that serves thousands of guests, faced repeated Wi‑Fi failures from prior deployments—poor performance, coverage gaps, interference and unattractive cost/benefit. They turned to Cambium Networks for a high‑capacity, rapidly deployable, centrally managed wireless solution using cnPilot access points and the cnMaestro management system.

Cambium Networks deployed 16 cnPilot e410 indoor and 6 cnPilot e500 outdoor APs (with cnMaestro and cloud4wi Volare/Spaces for authentication and analytics), using zero‑touch provisioning to install the system in three days. The network supported peaks of ~1,700 simultaneous users, averaged 940 users/day over six days, carried ~30 TB of traffic (avg. 7.45 GB per user) and served more than 6,500 VIP guests over the event, delivering full coverage, real‑time analytics and lower operating costs — prompting Camarote Salvador to extend its partnership with Cambium Networks.
