Punta Cana's Prestigious Resort, a large two‑property resort in the Dominican Republic with pools, restaurants, entertainment venues and extensive grounds, needed to expand wireless broadband beyond the lobby and corporate offices to support guests, events and critical back‑of‑house systems. Working with integrator Wadecom, the resort selected Cambium Networks solutions — including ePMP subscriber modules, cnPilot 802.11ac indoor/outdoor access points and the cnMaestro cloud controller — to meet high throughput and user‑density requirements across diverse installation locations.

Cambium Networks deployed ePMP for broadband access and cnPilot access points managed by cnMaestro to provide seamless Wi‑Fi from guest rooms to the beachfront; the rollout delivers reliable coverage across the entire property, supports up to 3,000 guests and event attendees at peak, and has markedly improved customer satisfaction. The resort reports stable links and “zero problems” with Cambium Networks equipment, and plans to replicate the design in other properties while recommending Cambium Networks to peers.
