Ensures Reliable And Stable Connectivity To Residents And Employees Of Senior Home-Care Residences

AWO Chemnitz needed to modernize connectivity across two senior-care residential complexes after unreliable internet disrupted video calls and limited residents’ and staff’s use of digital services. They turned to Cambium Networks for a future‑proof Wi‑Fi 6 solution—seeking robust, easy-to-manage wireless that would support streaming, video calls, telemedicine and separate staff/business access.

Cambium Networks implemented a cloud‑managed deployment (cnMaestro) with 40 Access Points (35 XV2‑2 indoor, 5 XV2‑2T0 outdoor) and 9 cnMatrix switches (EX2028, EX1010‑P, EX2028‑P), completed within six months. The result is stable, high‑bandwidth Wi‑Fi used by residents and employees, enabled telemedicine and digital workflows, and a scalable network that AWO Chemnitz can expand as demand grows. Cambium Networks’ platform also simplified ongoing management and device onboarding.
