Easyweb Digital, a local provider of high‑speed connectivity in Alice Springs, needed to deliver reliable, high‑capacity broadband to Traeger Park stadium on a three‑week timeline so Cricket Australia could stream the Ashes Chairman’s XI match and provide separate press and public Wi‑Fi. Easyweb selected Cambium Networks to supply the wireless solution, using PTP 500 and PTP 230 wireless backhaul links plus PMP 450 and ePMP access systems to meet the event’s strict streaming and capacity requirements.

Cambium Networks’ PTP backhaul and PMP/ePMP access gear was mounted on stadium lighting towers and commissioned in three weeks, providing uninterrupted live video streaming and scalable coverage for future events. The deployment carried 89 GB over two days (69 GB press, 17 GB public), supported about 70 media users concurrently with thousands of press and public sessions, and enabled streaming to an estimated 20,000 viewers — demonstrating rapid deployment, high reliability and clear, measurable capacity gains for Easyweb Digital.
