Consistently Reliable Service Propels Growth

RocketBroadband (also known as SKYTEL Networks Ireland Ltd.) serves about 4,000 business and residential customers around Wexford, Ireland. After initially using very low‑cost equipment the network began to experience firmware problems, poor synchronization and limited throughput that drove up support costs and hurt customer satisfaction — challenges RocketBroadband addressed by turning to Cambium Networks’ ePMP system.

Cambium Networks deployed its ePMP platform with GPS synchronization to enable closer AP placement, channel reuse and consistent performance (200+ Mbps per sector supporting 50+ subscriber modules). With 500 ePMP installations in place, many customers saw speeds rise from ~15 Mbps to as much as 40 Mbps, service calls declined while new‑subscription inquiries increased, and RocketBroadband plans to add more than 100 new subscribers per month as it retrofits high‑demand areas with additional ePMP equipment.
