Connecting Classrooms Cultivating Community

Plymouth Joint School District in Wisconsin — a K–12 system serving just under 3,000 students — faced unreliable Wi‑Fi that was built for coverage rather than density, with access points unable to support more than ~30 simultaneous users and frequent slowdowns during classes and assessments. To address this, the district selected Cambium Networks and its cnPilot solution (cnPilot E400 APs managed via cnMaestro).

Cambium Networks supplied and integrated 150 cnPilot E400 access points across five buildings, a cloud-managed cnMaestro setup, and enabled quick self-installation by district staff. The deployment quadrupled client capacity, eliminated widespread connectivity complaints, delivered consistent high-capacity performance for daily use and large events, and gave the district a scalable platform they plan to extend to nearby schools.
