Connecting Animals with Good Homes

The Humane Society of Pagosa Springs is a small, nonprofit animal shelter that relies on online adoption forms, e-commerce for supplies, and web updates to find good homes for animals. To support growing demand—adoptions have doubled to about 40 animals a month—the organization needed reliable, high‑speed broadband across its shelter, thrift store and administrative offices. Skywerx delivered the service using Cambium Networks’ ePMP system (ePMP 1000 Distribution Network Solution) to meet those connectivity needs.

Skywerx deployed Cambium Networks’ ePMP 1000 across all three locations, providing 2.4/5 GHz wireless coverage with up to 100 Mbps in a 20 MHz channel and enabling VoIP and consistent Internet access. The Cambium Networks solution let staff and volunteers process online adoption applications, order supplies, keep the website current, run the thrift shop and coordinate with other shelters more effectively—directly supporting operations and the shelter’s mission.
