Connecting a Community to Each Other and the World

NG Media, an Indigenous-owned media organization serving the remote Wingellina (Irrunytju) community in Western Australia, needed a low-cost, low‑maintenance wireless system to broadcast digital radio and provide reliable long‑range outdoor WiFi in harsh outback conditions. NG Media engaged Easyweb Digital to design the network using Cambium Networks equipment — notably ePMP 1000 point‑to‑multipoint links and cnPilot E500/E400 access points — to meet strict installation, reliability and remote‑management requirements.

Easyweb deployed Cambium Networks’ ePMP 1000 backbone with cnPilot E500/E400 APs managed via cnMaestro and integrated Encapto for captive portal, content filtering and analytics. The Cambium‑based solution delivered full community coverage, was installed across nine buildings in under a week, supports up to ~100 Mbps in a 20 MHz channel, and gave NG Media branded, mobile‑responsive portals plus controls for time/download limits and remote monitoring — reducing maintenance and enabling dependable broadband and local content delivery.
